KH-8 30 (GAMBIT 68) was launched on 1971 Jan 21 by Titan IIIB Agena D from Vandenberg on a 19 day flight. According to Richelson [179] the spacecraft returned images of Soviet construction of a new type of missile silo for the R-36 (SS-9) ICBM. A second object was cataloged with a slightly higher perigee; it may be a sensor cover.
