Up early and all packed, I have a few hours to spare to get some exercise, so I decide to walk from the hotel at Munchner Freiheit down the Leopoldstrasse to Marienplatz and Alsator, and then up the 300 steps of the Alte Peter tower. That did nicely, and I slumped exhausted on the U-bahn back to the hotel in time to leave for the airport.
