KH-8 28 (GAMBIT 66) was launched on 1970 Aug 18 by Titan 3B Agena D from Vandenberg. In addition to its close-look imaging mission, it also carried an accelerometer to study the density of the Earth's atmosphere. Perigee of this mission, at 151 km, was higher than for any other KH-8 flight bar the first two test flights. The spacecraft remained in orbit for 16 days.
